Chioma Ozioko

I am Ozioko Chioma, a newly qualified medical doctor and aspiring data analyst. During medical school, I realized that much of medicine is about making sense of raw patient data by recognizing patterns, exploring differentials, and translating information into decisions that save lives. This experience sparked my passion for data and it's power to turn numbers into meaningful insights and, ultimately, solutions. Since then, I’ve expanded my toolkit beyond the clinic. I have gained hands-on skills in Python, SQL, Excel, and Power BI, and proven my ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge through projects at AltSchool Africa and self-driven study. Alongside these technical skills, I bring the transferable strengths of a medical background: critical thinking, problem-solving under pressure, research methods, and patient-centered data interpretation. Together, these allow me to analyze data not only for accuracy, but also for impact. I am actively seeking mentorship, internships, and entry-level roles in data analysis, across industries, from healthcare to SaaS and beyond. My goal is to combine a human-centered mindset with technical skill to deliver insights that create impact.
